I went to kyoto incrustation store “Miyasaka Zogan” today.
“MIYASAKA ZOGAN” is damascene that has been transmitted in Japan since old times. First, cutting wood and mother-of-pearl one by one, and we put them into another wood by handwork. It is finished by the man of skill. Using only knife and making by hand, it is possible to represent the history of wood and put them without apertures. Then there is an original design in the traditional one.
